Summary

Embark on an unforgettable 7-day journey from Raxaul to the heart of Nepal, where towering Himalayan peaks meet rich cultural heritage. This meticulously crafted itinerary blends thrilling drives, serene lakeside towns and sacred spiritual landmarks into a seamless week-long road trip.

Your adventure begins with a scenic 7-hour drive from the border town of Raxaul to Pokhra, Nepal’s premier tourism hub. Nestled beside the tranquil Phewa Lake, Pokhra serves as your base for exploring iconic marvels like Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave and catching a breathtaking sunset from Sarangkot. From the lakeside energy, you will journey deeper into the mountains toward Ghandruk Village. This traditional Gurung settlement offers an authentic cultural immersion, featuring stone-slab village walks and panoramic sunset vistas.

As the road winds further into the rugged terrain, you will traverse the jawdropping Kali Gandaki Gorge to reach Marpha Village. Celebrated for its unique architecture, Nyingma Tashi Chholing Monastery and legendary apple orchards, Marpha provides a delightful cultural pitstop before heading to the ultimate destination: Muktinath. Sitting at the gateway of Kagbeni, the sacred Muktinath Vishnu Temple and Jwala Mai Temple offer a profound spiritual climax to the trip.

After absorbing the divine energy of the mountains, a scenic drive brings you back to Pokhra for a relaxing evening by the lake, before concluding your loop back to Raxaul. Perfect for adventure enthusiasts, pilgrims, and culture seekers alike, this road trip promises memories that last a lifetime.
