Chopta, also known as the “Mini Switzerland of India.” Surrounded by the Bugyal or Velvet meadows and pristine snow-capped mountain, Chopta Tungnath (the highest Shiva temple in the world) and Chandrashila Peak is considered a year-round holiday destination. In winter, the snow-capped hills attract you to the fairyland. Chopta also comes in the center of Panch Kedar Trek route. we will witness the beauty of some of the most iconic Himalayan peaks, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba, and Kedar Dome. On the last day of our trek, now it's time for the hidden gem Deoriatal Lake tucked away in the dense forests near Sari village especially known for its crystal-clear waters which work as a mirror for snow-capped peak Chaukhamba. According to the locals and legend, this is the lake where the Pandavas were once tested by Yaksha.
